What a busy year 2023 has been. We’re not sure how it’s nearly Christmas, but here we are.
Thanks for trusting us as your advisors once again—or for the first time if you’re new to the Maxim family. While the waters of business aren’t always smooth, we hope we’ve got you thinking and pushed you closer toward your goals this year.
Thanks also to our dedicated team. They say the success of a business is built on the strength of its people, and we’re extremely lucky to have such a loyal and hardworking team.
Not only have they delivered for you, but they’ve gone above and beyond this year, helping us raise money and do our bit for some deserving charities, continued with their professional studies, graduated from uni, celebrated employment milestones, travelled extensively in Europe, got engaged, and had babies.
2023 sadly saw us farewell Bruce Heathcote as he retired after over 15 years as part of the Maxim team. We wish Bruce all the best with his golf handicap.
An important mantra for us this year has been ‘Working on your business, not just in it’, leading us to do a lot of work behind the scenes to provide enhanced value to you.
We’re certainly ready for a rest; no doubt you are, too. We hope you can take a break, enjoy time with loved ones and focus on play rather than work for a week or two.
All that’s left to say now is let the festivities begin! See you in 2024.
